POSTPONED TO THE FALL​
BACH COUSINS – Luminous Dynasty
We regret to inform you that our last concert of the 2019-2020 season, “Bach Cousins: Luminous Dynasty,” scheduled for May 2, has been postponed due to COVID-19. While we are disappointed at having to take this step, the safety and well-being of our audiences and artists come first.
If you purchased tickets for this concert, you will be contacted about options.
We anticipate this now becoming the first program of our 2020-2021 subscription season, and look forward to announcing more details in the near future.
Early Music New York (est. 1974) receives international acclaim for vibrant and provocative performances of historically informed repertoire from the medieval through the classical eras. Directed by Frederick Renz and presented by Early Music Foundation, Early Music New York (EM/NY) performs its annual subscription series “In-Residence” at the Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine and the First Church of Christ, Scientist. Early Music New York performs frequently for The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Cloisters, the Pierpont Morgan Library, Hayden Planetarium, Columbia University, The New York Botanical Garden, Century Club, as well as other select New York City venues. EM/NY has recorded more than 20 albums and can be heard on the Ex cathedra label, Musical Heritage Society, Foné, Nonesuch, Musicmasters, and Lyrichord.
